The Extra Support Kit solves any issue that a sleeper may have with a lack of support in the upper torso, shoulders, neck and head area by using a specifically engineered wedge with panel extension shape that pairs with the Comfort Channel of the SONU Sleep System mattress, as well as an additional panel shape for customization of further support where needed. If a sleeper is experiencing a sinking feeling when using the Comfort Channel or doesn’t feel level during the night, the Extra Support Kit will rectify these situations.

For Queen, King and Cali King mattress sizes, the Extra Support Kit comes in 2 halves for easy installation and individualized support configurability under each side of a SONU mattress, totaling 4 pieces in each kit. This means you and your partner can enjoy different areas of support on each side of the bed. (The Twin XL kit contains a single wedge and panel, totaling 2 pieces.)

1. Install. Place the 2 inch thick foam wedge under your SONU mattress with the thicker end flush against the headboard area. Make sure that the wedge is positioned parallel to your mattress to provide support evenly across the Comfort Channel.

2. Position. If your mattress is a Queen, King or Cali King size, repeat step 1 for both wedges in your kit – one under each side of the bed. Make sure both wedges are positioned fully under the mattress, symmetrically and parallel to the headboard area, spanning the entire width of the mattress.

3. Customize. Place the 1 inch thick foam panels below your lower back area for added lumber support if needed. Or, after sleeping on and testing the feel of the foam wedge, more support is desired, move the foam panel to where additional support is needed.
